Poppy Chair Persons: JOE AND KRISTIN LEE
The time has come for Jim and Pauline to be given a break from being the wonderful Buddy Poppy Chairmen. This is the time when the torch is handed over and I can come to you and introduce myself and my husband as the new chairman and chairwoman of the Buddy Poppy Program for VFW Post 1622.
I am Kristin Lee, Kat to many, and I am married to Joe Lee the up and coming quartermaster for the 2010-2011 year here at Post 1622. I am excited to be working with Joe as the new chairmen of the Buddy Poppy.
The new Buddy Poppy Cards are available for a $3.00 Donation that goes into the Veterans Relief Fun for the up and coming year.

In Flanders Fields the poppies blow,
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky,
The larks, still bravely singing, fly,
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the dead.
Short days ago,
