The following donations were received for Long Beach Veterans Hospital for the period of April 21, 2010 through June 13, 2010:

Bill Estes gave a monetary donation.  Carol & Jerry donated men’s clothing and shoes.  Collette Reames donated VCR tapes.  Doris (Bingo) donated scarves.  Fredelle Day donated many, many VCR tapes.  Ida Hochderffer donated comfort items and paperbacks.  Jean Hayes donated comfort items and toothbrushes.  Judy & Phil donated magazines that the patents loved.  Pauline and Jim donated very much needed comfort items.

For the very first time, I have to request that I need the hotel/motel size shampoos, conditioners and body lotion for the veterans.  I never thought that I would have to request those items but I guess with the sad state of the economy, people are just not traveling as much as they did.
