I would like to take this time to thank the post members for electing me your Commander for the 2010 -2011 year. Congratulation to all the new officers I look forward to working with you this year.
As the Flag ship of the 4th district we have our work cut out but I know with all your help we will have a great year.
Programs are a big part of what we do. I hope that we can all get involved and volunteer some time to your favored program . If you have one that you would like to work with please let me know or seek out the chairman and volunteer to be on his or her committee. Remember all of this is for our veterans.
Membership is the life blood of this organization therefore I challenge each and every one of you to go out and recruit one new member this year. In the coming months you will be hearing more about membership. If you are a member start thinking about becoming a LIFE member.
I would like to congratulate Joan Williams Ladies Auxiliary President and her new officers and John Harris, Men's Auxiliary President and his officers. I look forward to working with both Auxiliaries it will be a challenging year but I have faith that it will be a great year and a fun year. We have a lot events planned and it will take team work to pull them off.
My congratulations to all the new 4th district officers and 4th district ladies auxiliary. Hope you also have a great year.
